God dammit, I fuckin suck at this game. Why can't I be any good? I've been practicing my ass off, logging close to 300 hours of play time. It's like it isn't doing anything, and I won't get good no matter what. I'm starting to get fed up with with sucking so badly.

P.S.
Going up against CPU's are only good for developing combos and techniques.
You have to go up against people to improve your mind games.

Mind games? I can do that with Pit or Marth, but MetaKnight -- my main -- isn't played like that. You raped my MetaKnight easily like he was some joke character.

What make my MetaKnight so easily to destroy like that?

You can play mind games with metaknight.
You can play mind games with any character.
Actually the mind games carry over to any character which is why WoW used to beat our mains even with characters he used for the first time.
It's a mindset, we subconciously build patterns around our playstyle.
Be observant and you will see it.

I would suggest playing shizzlee more often.
Seriously, about a week ago, she predicted my Ike's every move.
Each sidestep I was smashed, each smash I was dodged, each block I was grabbed.
I could barely take a stock away from her.
It was quite a wake up call.
But that's changed now and I think she can vouch on how I improved. ^_^

I personally think having tons of Melee experience really helps in Brawl. Not so much in the actual playstyle, because the two games are completely different in that regard, but being skilled in move prediction, general mindgames and off-edge play really helps make one do well.
