i personally don't see anything wrong, it's not like he is going around and making fun of people. he is a little arrogant but at least he can back it up.

I wish iclim4 was on.  I'm back and once I start playing Skies of Arcadia again I don't want to have to pause for the Ike duel he wants.

It's fine to be competitive. It's fine to try and be kick ass with a character. However, there is a point when competitiveness overshadows the fun part of a game (this is where TGM's mutliple restrictions on characters, stages, items, etc. come into effect as well as his casual comment, which confirmed to me that he is an elitist). And at that point, why would you bother playing? In my opinion, it's becomes more of an ego/virtual penis/whatever you want to call it sort of thing. I have a problem with that. You don't. That's quite all right. If everyone agreed all the time, these forums would be boring. Again, I won't speak for any of the others, but those are the reasons I dislike TGM.

Ok, 1st off. Im going to go ahead and agree with ALL of you that i started off on the wrong foot here. I was arrogant and looked down on all of you and made fun of you guys. But as i started talking to you guys i realized you cats arn bad at all.....not at all. I am 100% at fault and i apologize for being such a moron. I honestly mean that. Plz believe that.

2nd! i didnt give a proper intro. i just ran in here and started being dumb. So let me rewind that first day and tell you a little bit about me. My name is Allan Sims(tgm/xyro) and im just now 20 years old. Currently i live in Houston, texas. I attend college to one day become a Histry prof at the college level. I do work but im about to quit(distance is too far). I came to VGC because i was bored of the Smashboards/gamefaqs people. I thought you guys would be fun to play with. Even though i was a massive A-hole, some of you guys played me.....THANK YOU!
Ok, so theres some background and some reason why i came here.

3rd! Casual vs Competitive. This is an arguement thats been around for ever. First, a casual is what i define you guys as(some of you are leaning to Competitive). It doesnt matter which one you are because its just a game. Enjoy/play it the way YOU want to. I choose Competitive, most of you choose casual. Thats cool in my book. But with each side comes a certain mind set. Casuals just want to have fun, yes they may want to win at times but if they dont, they tend to not care so much. This is all fine and good. Competitive players take every match(or most) serious and follow rules that are set for Competitive players (MLG rules). They want to get better in any/every way possible and they alays are searching out people to play. At times they tend to get arrogant(tgm) and lose track of why they are Competitive and end up being complete idiots(tgm). I see where i messed up and im on track now. I dont think casuals are bad people, its just casuals cant(for the most part) grasp the concept of what Competitive players are. So a fight begins. They dont understand why items are turned off or levels are banned or its only 4 stock 6 minutes. They think Wavedashing and L-canceling where glitches. They think that if you dont do advanced techs that u can still be good. If you deeply read on all of these things, you will understand why all of this is put in place. I wont post more on this in this post cause its getting rather long. ill respond to this in other posts if you guys wanna talk about it.

4th! Im here for one reason, to get better. I KNOW for a fact im the best person here. Ive see posts/comments made and left on profiles. i can kinda get a sketchy idea of who good and how good they may be. But its nothing set in stone. I honestly like you guys, wether your good or bad. i want to help you guys get better if you are willing to learn. In fact, im open to learning as well. I have learned lots about rolling from you guys. Things that Competitive players dont do, you guys do and ive learned some. THANK YOU!

5th! This is just mainly a closer paragraph! I honestly am sorry for the things i have said in the past. I was dumb at first but i will/am changing this. I like all of you and am willing to rematch/help any of you that ask. Im sorry if my Competitive style makes you angry/upset. Its who i am. All i ask is that you give me another chance, thats all. If any of you want things explained that i havnt addressed here, plz post. The one thing i always do is back up my claims and never lie to you guys.

I disliked TGM at first but after that weird show where he said "I love you" to almost everyone and acted nice about it, I figured his Assholeness was just an act. Also seeing that he actually started to change for the better shows that he is trying to fit in. Just my thoughts.

Just a couple of questions: Do you frequently abuse Smash attacks (for finishers or just plain ''combos'')? Do you play with items? Do you play on big stages?

If you said no to all of these questions, I'd like to have a match against you! If it doesn't lag much that is, I guess it could be interesting (in a competitive way). ;)
