I was in Gamestop today stocking up on Gamecube controllers, and I was talking to the cashier about Brawl preorders. He said they are still taking preorders. The store I was at (Which isnt particularly big in the area) has over 400 preorders now. Just TODAY in the span of 3-4 hours, they got 10 more preorders. Thats huge!!
GameFAQs did a poll the other day about who preordered Brawl and who has not, but still plans to buy it. Only HALF of the people who plan on buying the game have preordered. Considering ioi said there is "well over a million preoreders" (and this was a week ago), I can definitely see a 1.8-2.0 million first week.
