@ Riot; Partly I agree with your camping hate and reasoning for your Down-B about stopping camping. However Brawl can be just like the way you like your fighting games. The real problem is the majority of the Brawl community. The real reason I haven't joined any smash related sites is because I cannot stand the majority of the smash community >.<
Everywhere like SWF, AiB, BC, etc. there are hoards of melee fantards who can't get over their crappy ass attitudes about brawl and the fact it isn't an exact clone of melee and are screwing over brawl's metagame because of it. I admit, melee seems like your kind of game but realistically camping has not changed in any aspect. The basic foundation still stood, can't get hit by someone that's not close to you.
Melee was intense fast-paced take on smash, people loved it and camping made it unbearable. People looked down on camping in melee cause it ruined their smash experience. Then brawl came by,slowed it down a bit, balanced it out(soo people could unbalance it again :P), and removed a wee bit of hitstun and people couldn't stand it. The majority of the smash communtiy are people that can't take a hit and now just accept camping as the way to play it because Brawl couldnt live up to their precious melee.
Maybe if they would get over the game and treat it like melee, we could look down on camping and learn new combos and ATs and make the experience more enjoyable for competetive brawlers. But by the looks of it that won't be happening T___T The reason I love the brawlers here is because they treat the game with some respect and find ways to better their game without relying on cheap camping. <3 You VGChartz brawlers :3
Just thinking out loud ^^;
