I didn't play melee so I don't know if it's my type of game or not. I'm mostly comparing it to other fighting games. I've been playing fighting games all my life and I love them a lot. But exactly can you do other than camping? Every approach sucks that's not metaknight. Even marth isn't that great. I'm automaticly at a disadvantage just because I approach. When I play in the brawl league, I'm a completely different fighter. I don't approach or even try to combo. I let metaknight's brokeness win for me.
Brawls meta game is already broken beyond repair almost. The down b with metaknight is a symbolic AT that gives hope to people that want to get past camping and make it far less effective. Banning it just a step backwards into camp zone. This was something that could have changed the brawl was played. I'm glad at least some tourneys will allow it like FAST1.
