i know im being hypocritical when i say this but how do people know who their mains in brawl are going to be if some of the characters they havent even tried yet?

Hell, I've seen how Dedede moves, and I think he might be a kickass character...and I know I want to try Samus, Metaknight, Sonic, and ROB the most...but that doesn't mean I'll MAIN as them...after playing the game, maybe I'll like Marth the most, or perhaps Toon Link...I dunno.

I have "theoretical" mains. but that's based more on the characters themselves than how they play. I want to try and get good with the characters I think are cool.
I really want to try to main DeDeDe, Olimar, Wario and Link. But it's because I think they are awesome. Who knows, I may end up really disliking playing as Olimar and DeDeDe (link is a fairly sure bet, because he was my main for Melee). For all I know I'll end up having wolf and rob as my mains even though I really don't care about either of them. Only time will tell. 15 days til I can start figuring it out though! Time for my hype levels to start rising again!
