exactly, i admit i stated many times i did not think Sony would go the route of "required pay to play for online for the PS4" and right now they have starting with the PS4! AND THAT IS THAT Iwas wrong, BUT THERE WAS MANY ON HERE THAT STATED SONY HAS TO HAVE DRM required and I also stated, no they do not have to have it required, and many stated well if Microsoft has it so must Sony, well they do not have DRM required on the PS4. and those same people that swore up and down Sony would well the same goes for your claim.

Okay ill make myself more clear. Its funny how ps fanboys are eating this up when just 24 hours ago they were against paying to play online.

I'm still against paying for online, but XBox did it even when the competition did it for free. That's much much worse than what's happening now.

I've had PS+ since a month after the service launched so this doesn't affect me. Still, it's a lame move. I get why the did it, why it's the best move, and it was a great conference except for that minor stain but it's still kinda lame.

Every month that you pay 5 dollars you get ~30-100 dollars in free games, including retail.  Not getting PS Plus is almost like not buying something that's 90% off.  And you can't believe this wasn't coming after so many years of MS making so much free money on it.  Focus on all the things they did amazingly well!

Assuming you're going to play the free games, or take advantage of any of the discounts PSN+ offers on new titles, the subscription pays for itself pretty fast.

But, if you're ONLY paying $50 a year to play your $60 games online, particularly if you only buy a handful of games a year, you're better off playing on PC if you can deal with the inconveniences.
