Assuming you're going to play the free games, or take advantage of any of the discounts PSN+ offers on new titles, the subscription pays for itself pretty fast.
But, if you're ONLY paying $50 a year to play your $60 games online, particularly if you only buy a handful of games a year, you're better off playing on PC if you can deal with the inconveniences.
