What's ironic about it: Wasn't born till 1991.
Atari 2600 - I remember selling off ~70 games door to door so that I could afford to buy an NES. Good times.

You're right because it's impossible to hang on to favorite franchises and consoles that do not exist any more.
Show me the franchise called asteroids, show me the franchise called 3D world runner, show me the franchise called kid icarus, show me the franchise called...
