Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft: expect more Xbox One exclusives at GamesCom, plus a "surprise" Xbox 360 game at E3

I thought they would show 15 at e3, at least that's what it sounded like.

15 exclusives, MS published, in its first year, Nov 13-Nov 14.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Makes me wonder if they're downplaying their e3 lineup.
But they said e3 was going to be games, games, games, and they would kill sony....
Maybe instead they're just boasting huge amounts, saying we will show you a shitload of games, and then even MORE at gamescon...
So either they don't have a lot of games ready for e3, or they have a massive amount.

I'm going to go ahead and predict that their "games, games, games" statement was made up because of the huge negativity surrounding the reveal, and they don't actually have much ready. Doesn't make sense to me to be talking about gamescon when you should be talking about e3.

You too.....did you actually believe they would announce everything in one day? It makes sense to space it out for the rest of the year.

That said, the bulk will be announced at E3, with a few saved for later months.

That's my interpretation too when I try to read between the lines. And let's not forget that there was a rumor that MS was up to 6 months behind schedule with their 1st party launch lineup. That rumor was strengthened by the announcement of the EA/Respawn Titan deal.

I have a very hard time to imagine that these recent statements are anything other than damage control.

But I am ready to be proven otherwise, I'm reado to be blown away.

No they said 15 exclusives within 1 year starting from the Xbox One launch.

What would they have left to announce at E3 2014 ?

The exclusives to release late 2014 through late 2015.

It's just that with Sony showing 40+ games, 8 or 9 sounds like very few.

Then again, the Sony 40+ games could be 90% games we've already seen or heard rumors of.

right and they will do that, since they are not announcing all 15 exclusive at this year's E3.

But those games could and will be a mix of Vita, PS3 and PS4 and I haven't seen that comment where Sony said that, but I guess they include third party games as well.

The 15 games MS were talking about are Xbox One games and MS published (and more than likely not all present at this E3). The already leaked/announced Fable Anniversary, Halo Spartan Assault, Titanfall and Fantasia aren't even part of that.

I'm just saying that they need to bring a lot of games, because they have 40+ to go up against. It doesn't even really matter if that number is ps3/ps4/vita. It's still 40 games.
