I would trade that for my 150 mbps Internet that just recently started disconnecting for 30-300 sec 7 times a day. I need to figure out what's causing the problem. It's not a virus and it's not just me as there's one other computer that goes off at the same time as mine. Sucks because it means isolating the problem is going to be difficult.

My friend has a similar issue unfortunately. His internet is much slower though. Have you tried contacting your internet providor? They should come over and find the problem. Hopefully anyways. I cant stand dealing with an unstable internet connection.

Lucky bastard.
Mine usually goes out for ~3 days straight every single year...

Well, it could be anything between needing to clean out my computer (though I'm not entirely sure that can be it considering the consecutive disconnection with another computer in the house that cannot be just a coincidence), the router (another problem being that it only happens to this computer and another, both using a wireless connection), or may have to do with the traffic in the house. There are at least 10 devices in the house using the Internet, only one is through an ethernet cable.
It also does seem that in the busier hours of the day the connection gets lost more often and for longer periods of time. Really, I'm not sure how much the ISP can help much if what they deal with mostly is just providing the service itself.
