2014!? wtf... This means I have to wait longer for Versus XIII, and for FFVII Remake!!! :(

I do wonder if I'll enjoy this game. I disliked XIII but loved XIII-2, so it's anyone's guess really.

Don't be silly, it of course means that Versus is a PS4 launch title and this was delayed to give it room! {or FF X HD which also doesn't have a release date}

I don't understand Square... I might be buying this, but like most others, I really don't care about Lightning and I will be playing on my PS4 by this point

I don't know if I should say this...but snow looks pretty cool now. A little diva-esque, but better than his mullet on XIII-2.

I enjoyed FFXIII a lot, even though it started out really slow. I rented FFXIII-2 from gamefly, got about 15 hours into it and I was started to enjoy it quiet a bit. It also started kinda sluggish but it started to grow on me after a while. It's like $20 on amazon so I'll probably pick it up and beat it sometime this year now that this game is coming out for 2014. My thinking is, I already started the goddamn trilogy, might as well see it all the way through.

Since the story contains already a couple of important characters they could make this an epic ending to the series. Let people die for real and all.

Also, there is a firm release date and people are complaining? Get over yourselves, it's the gaming industry, not just SE, the industry in general. At least now we know when to expect the game.

That would make XIV in august, X/X-2 in october/november (fingers crossed) and 13-3 february ' 14. Now where would Vs.,the VII remake and XV for the PS4 fit in that schedule? Or would XV be VII?
