I like them a lot but at the same time I've never seen a developer being so overrated.

What else has Santa Monica done besides God of War? I love those games but I cant think of anything else so not sure id call them diverse.

Sony Santa Monica has worked on numerous titles, including Twisted Metal, Journey, The Last Guardian, Unfinished Swan, etc. Sony is letting them make their own games because they've are good at working and helping tweak unfinished products. Sony Santamonica has helped out so many unfinished games get to a complete level of development that at this point I think their creativity is boundless. Hearing that they've been helping out Team Ico with The Last Guardian is just baffling because its like they have the golden touch from genre, to genre to genre. They've been healing so many different games that are hurting. I cant wait for anything they would ever put out as a new IP.

Damn I didnt know any of that, pretty impressive. Im excited for what they have in store for PS4, the God of War games are great and id like to see there next AAA game.

Yep, The Last Guardian probably would've been scrapped if it wasnt for SSM stepping in. It was in development hell for such a long time. The great thing about Sony is that where the eastern developers are having a hard time adapting to next gen there is finally a bridge between eastern and western development. Team ICO is learning from them greatly.

Quite simply, Uncharted is one of the most overrated franchises of all time. The first game was horrible. U2 was great, when theres a set piece event or cutscene, but gameplay was boring, and U3 wasn't as good as U2. I am looking for Last of Us, but as it stands right now, I don't like ND too much nor any of their past games. I always preferred Ratchet to Jax. Very overhyped developer.

They're one of the top tier studios in the world. Immensely talented, creating two critically acclaimed new franchises in one generation. I can't wait to see their jump to the new hardware.

At that point I had only seen some noob play the demo like it was Call of Duty
