I think Sony is building up their first party with Naughty Dog and Sony Santamonica to be as reliable and diverse as Rare once was in its heyday. They have both rapidly become two of the top 10 developers on the market today. Says a lot about Sonys value as a company.

The uncharted series is pretty much the best thing on PS3. Great game developers.

Uncharted 1 was a fun, if not raw, romp. I enjoyed it, and it helped justify my PS3 purchase.

Uncharted 2 was absolutely amazing, every bit of praise that game got, it deserved and some.

Uncharted 3 was a weak effort and easily the worst uncharted game. I almost didn't finish it.

I am on the fence about the last of us. I'm sick of cinematic games, but I think I will take the plunge anyway.

So yes they are an extremely talented dev, but they are very capable of producing a stinker. I don't like how they seem to be only using one gameplay style these days. Cinematic 3rd person shooters are fun, but really you have to diversify at some point. The formula is becoming a little bland.

They do seem to stick to a formula for awhile, Crash/Jak were both mascot platformers and even used the same spin attack.

What else has Santa Monica done besides God of War? I love those games but I cant think of anything else so not sure id call them diverse.

Uncharted 2 easily was the best 3rd person shooter of the generation, Naughty Dog is one of the best devs to currently exist

If they are the guys I think they are - then they are super cool. They used to let us walk through their offices - to a balcony so we could have our paper airplane contest.

I don't think I've played any of their games though.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

They've made some of my most favourite games, even now the game i played the most on playstation and probably one of the first games i completed as a kid was crash bandicoot 2, uncharted 2 and 3 were just beasts though (i prefer number 3 to 2).

Bradford City Fan for life

Recent favourite games: Ni No Kuni, Fifa 13, Batman Arkham City

Best games of all time: Pokemon Red, Dragon Warrior 3, The last of us, Uncharted 2 and 3

3ds friend code add me: 1950-8131-6814

PSN ID: Mr_Vezzo_Khanny - add to start a clan in the last of us mutiplayer

Game of Thrones is kinda meh, lol.

I like ND, I'm not huge on Uncharted, it's a well developed game, but I'm not that into temple exploring adventure games, but The Last of Us looks promising.

I like how they made something new with The Last of Us. They don't rely on a specific IP like say Nintendo or Bungie. Naughty Dog kinda feels like a better funded Retro Studios to me. I look forward to their games because of the dev, and not because of the franchise. Can't say that about most devs.

I adore the Crash games they made, they were fantastic. Crash 2 being one of my favourite games of all time (top 3).

But I don't like their obsession with putting multiplayer in single player games, makes no sense.

Hmm, pie.
