I am on the fence about the last of us. I'm sick of cinematic games, but I think I will take the plunge anyway. So yes they are an extremely talented dev, but they are very capable of producing a stinker. I don't like how they seem to be only using one gameplay style these days. Cinematic 3rd person shooters are fun, but really you have to diversify at some point. The formula is becoming a little bland. |
They do seem to stick to a formula for awhile, Crash/Jak were both mascot platformers and even used the same spin attack.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
