I'll be surprised if we don't see a later next-gen release announced at E3 or some time after.

Either that or they really are only targeting consoles with the largest install bases.

Shame, a WiiU version announced now could have capitalised on the current EA hate-fest. Regardless, I hope they do a good job with this, EA needs the competition on the quality front, even if they aren't going to get it on the sales front.

It is current gen and looks better than nextgen FIFA.   Why the hell is EA so lazy some times?

Well they haven't said anything yet, and there's no real reason to not announce a next gen version now. So why not?

Those graphics look amazing! Almost photo-realism, as they say. Konami should put it on Wii U since it doesn't have FIFA.

Because they are EA and they have the FIFA license.  EA have likely made no significant changes to their FIFA graphics engine in 6-7years now so it's not surprising that it's starting to show its age. Keep in mind that's likely the PC version we are looking at which is bound to be a good step ahead of the PS3 and Xbox360 versions, in resolution if nothing else.

This comparison of how a current gen game looks better than a nextgen game, reminds of COD:Ghosts too lol, why does it look so shitty?   I guess there is pattern those games.   Greedy, lazy company D:

They should bring it to PS4 and XB1 too I think.    I really think they have not announce that, because Kojima will want to be the first to show how the engine looks nextgen.

Or maybe they are just focusing on optimizing the engine as much as possible in the biggest install base yet.   I really think they are going to kick FIFA in the nuts with this game.   Konami wants to take the throne back.
