That would be beyond stupid from Konami.  They already screwed the franchise in the transition from last gen to current gen.

I doubt they want to do it again.  Besides, What is the point of making a new graphical engine for PS360 , right now ?

Well they haven't said anything yet, and there's no real reason to not announce a next gen version now. So why not? 

It does seem pretty silly but there you go.
