Oh well, doesn't really say anything because pretty much every console has been the 'fastest pre-order' somewhere sometime. It's good advertisement I guess.

all?

you sure about that?

it does mean something when it is an established and trusted, large retailer.  unless you want to downplay and the fact isnt convenient.

i think what he's trying to say is after the wiiU it's hard to care/trust about these statements.

we are all quite sure ps4 and xbone will have a good week 1.   good pre-orders performance doesn't seem to necessarily extend past that first week based on recent history.

I am sure the xbox one will sell quite well.

And this is before we get to see all but a few games.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

It would appear Xbox One will still have a good launch. Better then PS3 for sure, but without Japan likely will not beat Wii or Wii U.

It's not a handheld so Japan barely counts.

i dont know lol.. looking at all the turds being thrown at microsoft since the reveal thats a huge feat

These threads usually end-up in one side, either Sony or MS fans, circle-jerking for the entirety of it going on how "this" is actual proof of this and that and not some poll, blah blah blah.

The minute xbox one starts making record pre orders in Japan or PS4 in US/UK, that would be news worthy.

Well Wii got 360k FW according to vgchartz in japan. PS4 imo has a chance to get at least half that while Xbox One would be 1/4 ish. Sizeable numbers.

I don't really care either way, I'm just saying "don't get your (anyone's) hopes up" especially when GameStop said that WiiU pre-orders were twice those of the Wii. And it also apparently sold out at Sears, Toy'R'Us and Target.

The WiiU launch itself was great (better than 360 and PS3), it just couldn't hold the momentum from January until now.

your first link is about the Wii... lol

your second is vague.

This is a retailer telling us their own order book.

oops, my bad.  there are no shortage of links though..

Exactly, but that's also precisely why we should take news like this with a grain of salt. I'm not someone hoping for Xbone (is that what we're calling it now?) or PS4 to fail, I'm just realistic.

@kitler: thanks for the extra links .
