Yeah I know it's early but I'm already looking forward to the next Fire Emblem game. I've never played Advance Wars but I will check out some videos on it, and I assume it's similar to Fire Emblem?

Absolutely no reason to get a DS Lite, as the 3DS can play regular DS games. I actually prefer the regular 3DS to an XL though, because I feel like the pixels are just bigger on the xl, rather than it being better quality,

Well GBA and DS each had 2 Fire Emblem games so its very possible we will see a sequel in the next 2-3 years.

They are basically the same game, just replace swords and magic with guns and tanks and u have Advance Wars. I havent played the DS installments but the GBA ones were great.

Idk I played both games and felt they were pretty similar, obviously there were things different from each other but overall its the same genre with similar gameplay.

But yeah I knew what you meant, I was just being a joker hehe. This whole thing might be irrelevant though as Nintendo may have abandoned the Advance Wars franchise all together. They said they woulda cancelled Fire Emblem if Awakening didn't sell well enough afterall. Thank the gods it did though.

3DS XL as it is better designed, has bigger screen and is more confortable to use and works with 99% of all DS games. But buy a DS lite if you want to play Game Boy Advance games instead of 3DS games and want a very long battery life
