Now that nintendo have announced the date for monster hunter 4 (september 14th) i was wondering what peoples thoughts were. I think its a good move putting it a month before pokemon. Monster hunter itself will be a huge seller, both in software and hardware terms, and then pokemon will be even bigger. I think in japan alone the 3ds is going to go nuclear this xmas. 

It's a good move because it proves MH4 Vita is coming soon after, 9/14 being just before TGS and it's also the second anniversary of the announcement of the 3DS exclusivity.

I think a late August date would have been better.

MH and Pokemon might be too close apart. And I actually don't think Vita's going to get MH because of the Sony line-up. If they keep cranking out MH clones, you can tell that they know that MH is coming, at least not yet.

Might get a portable version but way after MH4 releases, they won't announce at TGS because that'll eat into MH4 sales.

want it confirmed no Vita version>>>? Anyway yea an AUgust would have been better imo but now that is out sept 14 that means 3ds will be on beast mode for a long time (sept-dec)

Is that Japan only release date or world wide? Oops... I see other thread... Japan only. 3DS is going to kick some ass in Japan this year.

Massive second half for 3DS. A month apart is long enough, we see big titles released weeks apart here with no issues.

No way is mh4 coming to the vita, at least not for the next year, by which point it will have already sold shedloads for the 3ds. I dont know how many times capcom need to say its not coming to the vita for people to actually believe its not coming to the vita.
