It's Ubisoft.
It's likely that they saw the huge amount of money they got from Far Cry 3 and now try to turn it into a yearly franchise like Just Dance and Assassins Creed.
Which also means that the quality shold be gone when Far Cry 5 hits the shelves.

With AC it apparently works. It's one of few games that gets the luxury of yearly releases like COD and sports games, and still manages to be popular.
But Far Cry, no. They should be more humble and realize that FC3 sold well because it was a good game (at least according to Metacritic), but as a franchise it's is nowhere near the mass market "gimme more of my drug" status.
Personally, how do u rate FC3 and the AC series?

FC3 is one of the best shooters this gen. I would give it 9.3 and I hated FC2.
I'm not going to rate the AC series as a whole though. I was a huge fan, but after Revelations and AC3 it's pretty clear that the series has already seen it's high point.
AC1 - 9.0
AC2 - 9.5
ACBrotherhood - 9.3
ACRevelations - 7.8
AC3 - 8.0
awesome but i hope they won't turn Far Cry into a yearly franchise. There's only so much they can do with that franchise, it's not like Assassin's Creed where they can pick any time and location in history

Far Cry 4 so soon does seem a stretch, especially as they took so long over the last one. I also think that it would be sensible to have bi-annual franchises and in particular, I don't think we are going to see Watch Dogs 2 in Q4 2014, so I would suggest that would be a better time to release the game
As for Rainbow Six on the Vita, what Rainbow Six? I know they announced Patriots, but that seems to have to gone back into hiding, probably to re-emerge as a next gen game, in which case I can play on my Vita anyway remotely (kind of). I am more interested in what the title is rather than on what platform I will be able to play it.
Porting Liberation to PSN/XBLA seems reasonable. It is certainly a decent game and if they just tighten it up graphically and sell it for $30 it would probably be worth it for those who don't have a Vita. More importantly, I just hope the rumours about another AC Vita are true, I did genuinely enjoy Liberation
Only a couple of weeks until (nearly) all is revealed!
