I got The Last of Us yesterday for $89 and today got New Leaf for $59

Wow and Australian money is pretty much 1:1 (Australian to USA) right?  Why are game prices so expensive there?  They just like making money off you guys?

Yeah I think our dollar is actually higher.

We pretty much get screwed by all the companies because they can.

Our minimum wage is quite a bit higher than yours though so it isn't too bad.

So they like to stick it to you "down under".  I just added you on my 3DS and now we are friends.  Cool thing about New Leaf is that once you visit someone's town you can make them best friends.  Being best friends allows you to communicate with them if they are "online" but in their own town.  So if you are logged into wifi but just playing in your town by yourself (not even gates open) you can send messages back and forth to each other.  Very helpfull for meet ups or discussing what town everyone is going to go to.  A very awesome feature if you ask me.

Sweet. I didn't know about that feature. 

I'll be putting quite a few hours into this game as I did with the DS version.

35 bucks??? Sheesh. Good thing I'm not stingy...59 bucks sounds about right aus...wick, do you know how much it costs in the Aussie eshop? I'm not in aus til tomorrow so I haven't been able to check.
