So they like to stick it to you "down under".  I just added you on my 3DS and now we are friends.  Cool thing about New Leaf is that once you visit someone's town you can make them best friends.  Being best friends allows you to communicate with them if they are "online" but in their own town.  So if you are logged into wifi but just playing in your town by yourself (not even gates open) you can send messages back and forth to each other.  Very helpfull for meet ups or discussing what town everyone is going to go to.  A very awesome feature if you ask me.

Sweet. I didn't know about that feature. 

I'll be putting quite a few hours into this game as I did with the DS version.
