I'm really looking forward to this one! The game seems so good, and seems to fulfill all my wishes, except the one about villagers actually participating in contests. Anyhow, I'm going to have a LAN party with a few others the day after the european release :D

Just saw the latest Inside the Treehouse video and noticed there's lemons! Woot! They be my favorite fruit! I'ma see to it that my town will have tons of lemon trees all over! :D

Oh, and there's bananas which I've also never seen in an AC game before, but I find they taste yucky so meh. :L

I will have to think about it. I bought the GC version finally for my Wii, but have not played it yet. Maybe I will have my kids try it out first so I get a foot in the door. I been procrastinating on it.


GC version contains a decent amount of NES games.  That actually increases the value of the game on GC.

Can't find codes for a few of them...  Punch-Out!! is an ultra rare game supposedly only found on the island (which you needed the GBA adapter hooked up to the GCN to access the island).  They were going to release a LoZ on AC but it never materialized.  Main reason was because they started selling NES classics on GBA for $20 instead of selling it for $5 on e-reader.  I actually still own an e-reader for the GBA which I have a few games like Ice Climbers I believe.  You had to scan these cards on the e-reader and after so many scans you could finally play the game.

You should at least enter the Exitebike and Balloon Fight codes considering those games are pretty damn fun to play.

But... you need bananas to make a proper smoothie.  I love strawberry and banana smoothies!  My girl makes me one almost every day!  Lemons are only good for lemonade.  You also see the introduction of super fruit?  Not sure what this is but I'm going to look into it.  I saw it mentioned on the third video I believe (Your First Day in Town (Ep 3)).

GC version was only version to have NES games sadly. They did away with it in other versions due to realizing they could sell NES for $20 on GBA and then 5-6 on VC. So having NES games in AC makes the GC version special in this regard.

You are definitely a lemon lover. Never was a big fan of lemons besides lemonade. I don't even like lemon Starbursts. I usually just give them away (although I hardly eat candy these days). I was wrong about them being only good for lemonade. They also serve a purpose for tequila shots. My parents actually have a small lemon plant on their back porch. It is growing a decent amount of them for its size. I'm weird and picky when it comes to food such as I don't like watermelon but I like watermelon flavored candy...

I think a decent amount of people are buying AC digitally. VGC is going to be behind in tracking this game for a very long time. VGC will pretty much need to depend on Nintendo to release sales data during quarterly reports and then make adjustments.

Whut? Impossible! Lemons are best fruit! Atleast try adding some lemon juice to your next Sprite/Sierra Mist for the best soda ever! But eh, who am I to talk. I'm the same way towards most other fruits. The only other one I eat raw are Green Apples, and they HAVE to be green lol. I'm fine with candy/juice/etc. of most of the other fruits though.
