Replace Namco with Vanillaware, and I'm 100% on board. If those companies made Nintendo conosole only games from here on out, I'd be fuckin set.

And this is coming from a PS3 owner who is still waiting to buy Dragon's Crown. *sigh*

Why not just add Vanillaware?
(had to google vanillaware  I own Muramasa and Odin Sphere but somehow forget about the dev)

I mean I would be totally happy if Namco would be part of Nintendo and then all the TALES games would be Nintendo exclusive. And Soul Calibur (I never liked Tekken much because the first 5 impressions I had was LOL SLOWMO GAME....+ I hate it's characters...  but bought Tag2 for WiiU anyways just to support WiiU)

We should also add LEVEL5.

So Shin'en, PlatinumGames, wayForward, Namco, Vanillaware, Sega, Level5. What else xD?

If you expand too much you become something else. They are happy with their current business and do not wish to expand.
From Manfred Linzner himself:

How do you see the future for your studio? Any plans to expand or open other offices outside Germany, as some others have done? Or do you prefer to remain reasonable in size in this risky industry, with controlled objectives?

Since we started in the late 90′s, we have seen many studios come and go in Germany. You do a good game, grow bigger, make it AAA and after one or two flops you are gone if you have bad luck. We didn’t want to go that way. Instead of growing, we invested in our software tech and quality of life. Our future is also bright because we have enough resources to make any needed changes and the digital market is on the rise. It’s nice as well to have a steady cash flow from the many games we have already available online. And thanks to our fans, we have enough motivation to do it better with each release !

True. I've seen so many German studios die because they bloated themselves up and then failed with their game :/

Shin'en are a very technically talented developer, Nintendo should use them as tech consultants on a larger project.

This is pretty much what I was going to say.  I'm quite curious to see how their second WiiU game looks because they have been talking it up recently.  I have a feeling we still may not have seen what these guys are capable of, firstly the 40mb constraints of the Wii Shop and then time pressure to hit the Wii U launch.

I can see what you're saying. But the Tekken and Soul Caliber series', both of which I'm a fan, have really gone down the crapper in the last half  decade or so. Tekken Tag 2 was alright, except for the shit-tastic music. But really, they haven't been good since Tekken 5 and SCIII, which should have been multiplatform again.

I love Pac-Man, but they haven't done anything worthwhile with him in a long time, outside of that Championship DX game, which is fun. The new one looks okay, we'll see how it really plays. I don't DISLIKE Namco, mind you.

But I think outside of Sega, I'd rather that Nintendo added smaller developers like Vanillaware, Wayforward, Platinum, etc. to the fold.

Speaking of small devs, I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that Skip Ltd. suprises me with an awesome new Chibi Robo game for Wii U.
