Crazy talk.
Nintendo thinks that talk's crazy.
Stop talking crazy.

Because it would adversely affect the sales of the 3DS. It's not going to happen.
They will do exactly what they're planning to do - release the delayed Wii Fit, The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Game & Wario and then release Wind Waker, 3D Mario and Mario Kart 8 before the end of the year.
After that they'll have Yoshi's Yarn, Retro's new game, X, Bayonetta 2 until E3 2014 and then have one or two of this year's E3 games, a surprise Megaton or two announced at that year's E3 and SSBU before the end of 2014.
Should do well for the rest of 2013 and third party support will step up as a result of that combined with the fact that all 3 consoles will have a similar architecture making porting between the Wii U/PS4/One a great deal easier than porting between the Wii U/PS3/360.
when the games ave come and failed to save it then we can come up with Ideas.
this idea (GBA) never made the GC sell more so I don't see it working here :P

i don´t know if it would "save" the wii u but i would love to have a DS player
Don't know if it would do much for sales, but I would buy the hell out of it. Kid Icarus Uprising would play like a dream on that giant screen.

That depends on if Nintendo are more concerned with software or hardware sales. Hardware-wise, it MIGHT cause a small decline (emphasis on might). For software sales, it should show an increase, considering it's opened up a new userbase in the WiiU. My friend is refusing to buy Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Luigi's Mansion 2 until he's able to play it on the TV. I know some others who have the same view.
Considering that Nintendo makes a higher profit margin on its software than its hardware, I'd say it would benefit the 3DS category more than harm it...
like everyone already said: it did not help Gamecube, why would help Wii U?

From what I can remember, the GameCube never had a game drought in it's early years, only later towards the end...it's hardly a relevant comparison. Besides, doesn't data point to the GameCube selling much more than the WiiU at this point in it's lifetime?
Wii Sports HD
Put all Wii Sport, Wii Sports Resorts, and Wii Fit minigames in one game with revamped motion plus controls, GamePad integration, HD facelift, and additional Sports and Fitness exercise and minigames.

But he is talking about DS/3DS virtual console. Those systems are already 2 screens whereas Vita is only 1, so it's an idea that could theoretically work and might be a surprise hit! Mario Kart DS online on the big screen anyone?
NINTENDO
nintendo forever . . .
