Why are people pre-ordering any of these consoles? I think it's somewhat silly to pre-order something when you don't even know its release date, let alone its price. There are so many more things to know about these consoles. At least wait until E3.

And why are console reviews activated on amazon? It's stupid to allow for people to leave a review for an item they haven't even used.

and actually they don't put down any money or anything (atleast at amazon) and can cancel at any time, so it's really just a good place at the top of the line for free at this point

I want a PS4, Amazon seems like the best place to get it from at the moment.... i can cancel at anytime. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

Of course I have lots of time if Sony decide to do extreme DRM/online crap...so i am comfortable with the fact i have a *long* time to cancel.

Ps - totally agree that its stupid to allow people to review a product that no one has yet. I've had similar issues with products of mine on Amazon. The stupidity of users knows no bounds sometimes, and its quite depressing.

I guess if you don't have to put any money down and can cancel anytime then its alright. Some places I saw (and I don't pre-order consoles) require some kind of deposit, which is a no no for me if I don't know the console.

Yeah this was part of my problem, game wanted £20 - and i dont trust them to look after my cash, so Amazon was it for me, as i expect them to get some stock. Others I know have said shopto is pretty good for this kind of thing.

Well I reckon GAME need the deposits or else they won't be able to get any stock in, I don't think they exactly have much cash in reserve. That's why I have pre-ordered at amazon

Shopto have been good with games in terms of speedy delivery and release date delivery. To their credit, game normally deliver the day before launch, but I trust amazon the most, especially with Prime and free one day shipping

It's going to be a big game Tug of war in the upcoming months, any the Xbox One is back in the lead.

it's great to see ps4 and xbox one on 1 and 2 or vice versa. just imagine they would be on 20 and 30, wouldn't be a good sign for next gen even if it's only amazon and only preorders.
