Oh cmon seriously... did you even read the OP? They are giving DLC to the xbox one in advance. That is why this is about DLC. But oh well... im off.

But you're saying it is not DLC... Whatever it might be in some other games, this is actually DLC

I'm quite positive that the 360 and Xbox One will receive it at the same time.

it's only one month timed exclusive DLC, who cares?

No, its exactly what i said. Its content that is cut from the final game to be sold to you as DLC. Why? Because they are already telling you this in advance.

Yes, i could've brought up the issue in any other DLC thread, but the question of what outrages got brought up and i asnwered.

So when companies don't tell you in advance that they plan to release more content digitally, it is real DLC.
If they do, it won't be DLC.

Did I get this right?

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

So all the stuff that came after Skyrim wasn't DLC but cut content, since they did say in advance that there would be Xbox exclusive DLC? And what about content that they cut and didn't have time to finish? Does that count?

It would outrage me because this isnt DLC, its a piece of the game that is cut out and sold to you as premium.

But, i dont care about CoD, just saying.

Actually this isn't correct. One of the things I love most about Activision and CoD, is even though it is a yearly release and a sure fire 20 million seller nowadays, each and every game comes packed with content. For example, the agreement where they announced future DLC to be Xbox timed-exclusive started in 2010 with Black Ops. That game shipped with 14 MP maps. Compare that to 9 for Halo: Reach, 8 for Bad Company 2, and 8 for Medal of Honor.

In 2011 the deal continued and we saw MW3, which shipped with 16 maps. Compare that to BF3 which came with 9, Uncharted and Gears 3 both with 10 or 11, and 8 for Killzone 3. And of course Blops 2, which comes with 16 maps. Compare that to 10 for Halo 4, 8 for MoH Warfighter, 10 for Ghost Recon, and 8 for Max Payne 3. This doesn't include the wealth of content in Zombie/Spec-Ops mode, which some games on this list also have (Uncharted, Halo) but those games don't have as much as CoD does either.

Sometimes companies do hold off content for DLC. Other times companies fill to disc with loads of content and then after release, make some more. CoD has done the latter of those things.

don't even compare bf3 maps to cod maps. 1 bf3 map is like 2-3 cod maps. In bf3 tdm the maps would be broken up since they are too big for a 12v12 match.

Yes we all know a few BF3 maps are pretty big. And full of empty space that the game will literally kill you for trying to explore.
