Most conistent company at E3: Sony
Most conistent company in making new IP's in the current gen: Sony
Most consistent company in growth from previous perception: Sony

Okay... Again, your oppinion presented as general fact. Keep going.

Also, I never said anything about Sony, Sony's games or anything else. I never give any hate or attack other companies/consoles/games (only exception being in joke threads). This is starting to get a bit silly imo

You're probably right that it is a matter of opinion that Sony is the most consistent company at E3, but look it up...you'll find I am far from alone. Nintendo and Microsoft tend to be hit or miss at E3. Nintendos best E3 was 2010 when they showed off a slew of games no one else could follow.

You never said anything about the movie gaming company. Of course you didn't. :)

I'm a fervant MS defender, that's for sure, but I'm pretty sure I did not do that :)

Not even sure what game you are talking about; I'm personally a big fan of long cinematics in games.
You are confounding me with someone else.

I read the whole article and couldn't find any sign of arrogance from MS.

Seriously? They don't bother to cater to you because they know you'll buy it anyway, regardless of how poorly they treat you.

Are you sure you are not reading the editoral and taking the author's opinions as what is being said by MS? I don't see what they said as arrogance. They believe that their product will sell to non-gamers and that the real hardcore gamers will be picking up all the systems. They never stated that everyone will get their system, they believe that their product will appeal to a lot of people. Seems like they are expressing confidence in the Xbox One; the statement doesn't reek of arrogance.

Thats exactly how MS baited gamers away fromm the Playstation and then left them hanging in development halfway through the generation. They know they need them and they know if what they deliver is good people will buy it.

How so? Xbox gamers have better multi-plats most of the time. Have Xbox Live, which they prefer over a crappier free service. And they gave Xbox gamers the most amazing non movie games, which were all blockbusters.

Apparently the consoles from one generation to the next are staying exactly the same.

might as well tell gamers to get another job

yawn....

Shut up and wait.

Sick to death of cry baby gamers and cry baby gaming journalists. This particular journalist sounds like a complete moron with extreme bias. How the fuck does he know he said it "dismissively"? was he there? and using phrases like "vague bullshit".... yeah he's an amateur or really shit at his job, take your pick.

arrogance? where? there is no arrogance there.

Bingo.

Seriously, gaming journalism is an absolute joke, and it seems to get worse every year. 90% of these people could never hope to land a job as real writers

I could care less about what some nobody writer has to say.

He has a point, the serious Microsoft fans will buy the console regardless of the publicity.

My Xbox 360 friends are pretty keen on it despite some of the negative feedback.

Even though some of that feedback is unjustified. I think a lot of those interactive services will be popular in the US, which is the region the console is primarily designed for.

I am a defender of anyone who focuses on games. At the beginning of the gen I defended Microsoft and blasted Sony and many from the Sony section were just as annoyed of me as you are right now. I am a fervant defender of no one, except games. If a company focuses more on their development than another, guess what? I side with them. Sad part is for MS that only consistently existed for two years before Sony pulled ahead when it came to internal development and one of those years Sonys console wasn't even out ('05-'07). In 2009 I stopped defending MS because they completely lost focus on games development or even acquiring titles since their first party was clearly weak.

I stopped reading after this "Put off by Microsoft's increasingly anti-consumer attitude?"... Another article from a very biased writer :)

You're talking about yourself right? Becuase the writer is 100% correct. The Xbox One is very anti-cosumer.

You can't do....
You have to...
You can only....if....

Why is this always going back to "he is right, I'm right blah blah blah"...
Yes I'm biased, you are biased and he is biased. At least if you admit that it will be one of your first post which make senses in months.

He is right from all MS haters standpoint, but you know, whatever makes you happy :)

This isn't about being right or wrong. If something is anti-consumer, it really is only a matter of if it bothers you or not. It should bother you, but some people just don't give a crap.

History is being created here. We might be talking about this years from now. I still think they'll sell a lot of those boxes.
