Yea avoiding the media on this game too. Polygon is pretty good new website but their reviews are all over. They gave "Remember Me" 80 while most of the reviews were in 60's and 70's. Just different tastes i suppose.

Yeah, their reviews are generally dodgy and seem random. They are normally the ones who are the far end of the spectrum, either way

This would be the kind of game that makes me wish I had a PS3, but I'm just not a fan of heavy-duty stealth and resource management mechanics; if the story is as good as people say it is, I might be able to look past that, though. I'd like for Sony to give me enough reason to pick up a PS3 once it gets cheap (like $99), but I'm not sure if there's enough yet; all I would really want are the Uncharted games and a small handful of digital games like Journey and The Unfinished Swan. If Sony finally got around to releasing The Last Guardian, that would go a long way in convincing me to get the PS3 (assuming it's a PS3 game, not PS4).
