You buy a game, you own that game and you should be able to do whatever the fuck you want with that game. Greedy little bastards.

You can do whatever you like with it though if you have bought it.

I can sell it privately through eBay, where I recieve greater returns?

Yep, whatever you like.

Either you haven't followed the events this past week or you're seriously trying to mess with me.

Wouldn't it be sweet if that was enough to keep the internet quite for just 16 days when MS has their E3 conference?

Why should we be quiet, DRM is a horrible thing, if theres even a sniff of it we should be screaming the place down, they have to know its not all right.

If everyone sat quietly waiting for E3 theyd think all is ok lets press ahead. Everyone needs to shout this down as much as possible in the hope they see reason and remove it.

From the responses I have been getting today, we should understand it is inevitable and just deal with it.

Ah best we all just roll over then and take it up the arse, who wants to fight for the consumers right to own the things we buy anyway.

But I don't care about used game sales - I really don't. Never sold one and bought one in 2001.

Best let them just keep chipping away at your consumer rights then, till one day they do take something you care about, or it extends to other companies that start asking for a cut of things you do sell, cars, house you know whatever.

Then stay out of these threads then.

Believe it or not, the world doesn't revolve around you. Just because you don't care doesn't mean that those who do should stay quiet.

Why so sensitive?

I just said I won't support the mob, because it does not affect me in any way. The used game market is a big problem of this industry, ask THQ. I can understand that companies try to do something with it.

And this thread is NOT a "let's shout out how bad a fee is-thread". It is a thread about a MS response and I made a comment about it. So no, I won't leave and let the mob take over.

I am not being sensitive. In fact, you are the one who is getting upset because people are upset about the possible direction the used gaming market is going.

So now i'll address the rest of your post.

You won't support the mob because it doesn't affect you in any way. Well, it obviously does if you find the need to make the effort to continually butt into these threads.

Yes, you are right, it isn't a "let's shout about how bad a fee is" thread. If you were paying attention at all you would realize it is more of a "We can no longer privately sell our games and are handcuffed to specific retailers and corporations" threads.

So while you might not support the mob, at least know what the mob is angry about.

Also, if you really must know, since you seem to be out of the loop here, people are reacting negatively to this "statement" for (2) reasons:

#1.) They tell us that information is incorrect, meanwhile that info originated from high ups in MS, Phil Harrison to be specific.

#2.) The statement tells us nothing. It does nothing at all to clarify on the issue.

This is just an attempt to minimize the negativity surrounding the XBone and it's policy on the used games market, something that obviously affects plenty of people, whether you care or not.
