While I'll alway buy Mariokart and love it,  it's not necessarily a game that I will buy the system for.  I kinda wonder if NSMB fits into the same category for alot of people.  Given the opportunity many will end up buying it but in itself it's not enough to sell a system.

Well, while riding a roller coaster today, my 3DS XL dropped out of my friend's pocket (I gave it to him to hold on to because he had a velcro pocket).

Really disappointed right now.

I'm so sorry for your 3DS XL Smeags... RIP little handheld.

Who knows, half the ground on the coaster is water. I'm just assuming it's gone for good. More bummed about all the game data that's gone now than actually losing my 3DS.

If they found the SD card I'd be pretty content.

But yeah, I'll be contacting Nitnendo very soon. It'll be interesting to see if they can do anything to return any of my digital downloads. I now know why people want actual accounts for your activity and downloads. :(

Is that the limit of the system's durability? Being dropped from a rollercoaster? Or was the rollercoaster running over water? ...Or lava?

Seriously though is there any salvaging it? :(

The park staff said they look over the grounds every night and morning. I gave them my phone number and description just in case... but if they don't give me a call tomorrow (which I doubt they will), it's time to move on.

Thinking about getting the Animal Crossing 3DS XL (although I'm kind of nervous about getting a digital game. I've now lost Fire Emblem Awakening because I bought it  digitally).

Anyways, happier news everyone!

dude, I would cry, but at the same time, I would of never of taken it on a roller coaster because I'm way too paranoid.  I would of gave it to a girl/woman to put in her purse.
