Well it was okay. Nothing that was really surprising. I'll pick up 3D world and play it on the pad like a hd 3DS game. Mario Kart 8, X and Bayonetta looked good fun.

I'm honestly shocked at all the low scores for this Direct.
I'll admit that Super Mario 3D World was not what I was expecting, but the gameplay looks awesome. And the four-player co-op looks a lot better than the 2D Mario games -- people won't be constantly getting in each other's way. Mario Kart was a show-stopper. The tracks look brilliant, the new anti-grav mechanics look inspired, and it seems to have a robust online component. Plus new footage from Bayonetta, Wind Waker, Wonderful 101, and "X." On top of that, a new Donkey Kong game from Retro (I'm sure it's not Retro's only title in development) and the first ever Smash Bros. trailer for Wii U and 3DS. Oh, and all of these games are exclusive.
These are some of Nintendo's most popular, successful, and best franchises. There can't be a new megaton EVERY conference. And not every high-profile game for a system arrives within 12 months of the console launch.

Anyhow, people really get themselves hyped up like you demonstrated in my wall post to you. They go on overdirve with crazy predictions that Nintendo probably can't fulfill. I, myself, am happy with this. I will buy a Wii U as soon as possible.

Mario Kart 8 looked good.
The SSB tralier was awesome from start to end, and Megaman :3
X looked awesome as well.
I never saw Yoshi's new Island before. Looked nice.
Donkey Kong was meh. I didn't beat the first one, though that was cuz I was so obsessed with Shiny Golds and gave up.
I will be getting Wind Waker HD. yay for 1080p

I didn't care about the third party stuff :p
