Well... Sony doesn't. About 4 million systems sold in the 2nd year is not enough to be relevant on the handheld market when your direct competitor (3DS) outsells you 4:1 and the indirect competitors (smartphones / tablets) do insane numbers these days.

One thing I love about Xbox One is how it made the Wii U more interesting to me.

Damnit I got my hopes up when I saw the first point on the list. I thought this was going to be a sarcarstic no negativity thread where you post the negative points of the console in a positive light....  I also thought that every post after that was gonna continue with their own "positive" twists on it....  I'm so disappointed now, it sounded like such a brilliant idea when I was thinking that was what it was.

I did think the OP was more laughable than the thread title though. I don't see any alternative to those 'points'. What did they expect, that there wouldn't be 3rd party support? That the controller would be worse than the previous one? That kinect wouldn't work?

Best UI, best online infrastructure, best next generation racing sim, best first party FPS, best skeletal/muscle tracking, best voice recognition, best controller, best video conferencing for gamers, best scaling for games (Xbox One is the only console that supports 4K for both games and video), best audio chip, best support for the top 2 third party franchises (COD and FIFA), best with interacting with all your other electronic devices, I could go on but suffice to say that this system is far more ambitious than the ones you've listed. 

I mean the Vita is laughable, adding a touch screen and increasing the specs and calling it a day?  It's insulting to even compare something like that to Xbox One.  If Vita actually had any real killer features it wouldn't be struggling and waiting for a price cut to compete with products that cost twice as much as it does.  Anyways we should get back on topic about how great the Xbox One is and stop derailing it by comparing products that have no right to even be mentioned with it.

Have you seen the PS4 UI? No. You're just assuming it's the best because the conference put so much emphasis on it. Might as well assume PS4 has better games since the emphasis was on that.

best online infrastructure

Cross game chat was the only 'trump card' on 360. That's gone now. There is complete parity between the two services. Oh wait, PSN is free.

best next generation racing sim

Very, very debatable. Whilst Turn 10 have made giant leaps with the Forza franchise, I would say that 'best' so unequivocally is taking it a bit far.

best first party FPS

Most recognized and popular - totally. Best, also debatable. (less than the above though)

best skeletal/muscle tracking

Yup. They sure have this one.

best voice recognition

It's just software. Anyone could implement it. No-one has really cared much for this.

Firstly, none of us have played with either of the next-gen offerings. Whatever the result, they will be very, very close.
