They can rest easy as the Xbox One appears to have the largest CPU heatsink/fan ever made. :)

Combined with the fact the CPU and GPU are using a 25-40W TDP most likely...this thing will run cool and quiet all day long. 

Also interesting in the pic below is a standard 2.5 inch SATA drive and a bluray drive. This thing is a PC basically...

Not at all. Noise is determined fan's RPM (revolutions per minute) and since this thing is huge, it can spin at 1000 RPM and cool as much as smaller fans at 2000-3000 RPM. 

Not unless the fan gets all gunked up or dust really builds up making the fan work ten times harder.

During the reveal they said that The One was a really quiet machine.

And now we know why the top of the Xbox looks the way it does That fan is huge haha

The console itself doesnt look too "bulky" in that image. Has anyone done a size comparison yet? On some images it looks gigantic and on others it doesnt look as big.

typically the bigger the fan the quieter it is because you can operate at a lower RPM.

I'm so jealous of that CPU.. It's getting a really nice blow job. ;)

Yup I figure this is why it was so big to make sure they wouldn't get any hardware failure fiasco like they had with the 360
