The Japanese facebook for Sonic Lost World updated recently to show the silhouettes of the 6 gaurdians rumored to be appearing in the game but some of the more investigator types fans are drawing some parrallels to NSMBW

Here is some stuff:

1. The most clear is that if you look at the lost planet it is using every level trope from the NSMBW series not to say Sonic hasnt used this before but the general feel world looks like something outta Mario

- The plains

Look closely. The pattern forund those hills in the Lost World pic are the same found in NSMBW

- The forest

- Desert

- Volcanoe

- Ice mountains

- Sky level

- Coco moutains

- Islands(water level)

We  have 6 goofy lookin enemies/freinds but dont they remind you of anybody else?

So instead of 6 shitty new friends we get 6 new shitty foes? (who will later turn into 6 shitty friends) Way to go team sonic.. And knowing Sonic the lost world would mean something with dinosaurs or dragons or something like that.. Not NSMB.. They ain't got the brains to think up something like that..

Have hexagons world maps been used in Sonic games? When I saw that pic, I initially though it was a turn-based strategy game.

well it won't be long before we get to know who they are. only 6 more days or 5 if you don't count the day the actual reveal happens

The characters look more like something out of a rayman game

Paint me interested. This may be the first Sonic game I've been interested in since Sonic Adventures 2 for the DreamCast

The 2nd one from the left is Mushu from Mulan, Lost World obviously will be the tie-in to a yet to be announced Disney movie :P

Is Dr. Robotnik even going to be in this game?

its either a NSMB/Sonic mixture or a turn based Srpg
