Damn. I just asked you in your wall about this, then I realize you did open a thread xD Now I know.

So what did you think about the reveal mate?

Well...hummm, I found the Skype integration intriguing, to say the least; but the voice command or the in-screen inputs from your mobile device aren't great for my tastes. I like the fact that they set up everything to work from the One (Don't like the name, but it's way better than Infinite) so you don't have to rely on your TV anymore. Like a Cable box. I despite this, though. That's not what I wanted them to focus in the Reveal. They could have put some games working way better with Kinect and I'd love it more.

However, their main focus was the american multimedia, so I can't really picture that working here, over Spain. Quantum Break looks interesting, but the part with real actors was soooo unnecesary. I don't like Call of Duty, but hey, Forza 5 looks cool too. The controller is what I like most. Feels interesting, and until I hold it in my hands I won't be able to make an opinion, but it feels confortable just looking at it. And way more beautiful than the 360's, despite being similar. The console! A bit big, and a bit edgy, but beautiful. I'm just sad they chose Black over White (No racist pun intended, I can picture Badgenome coming here only to remark this part); as for me, I've always liked more the 360 when it was white. In fact, I bought the Slim version of Halo Reach, despite not loving Halo after the third one, because the console is Platinum, and it feels like the ol' great 360 back in 2006.

I was disappointed with several remarks after the reveal, such as the fee. I've never minded that because I'm the only one among my friends who own a 360, so If I had to play games with them, I had to take my console to their houses. But yeah, feels cheap. Like a fuckin' steal, if you don't mind xD The only redeem I can see for them with this is that they drop the Live fee in E3. That would shut up some mouths. Ah, and more games (I don't know why I thought they would show Dead Rising 3 exclusive to One, but it would have been awesome). They are in a bad position now but if they're clever, they'll trump the competition in E3.

Interesting thoughts, I agree with some of them.

Call of Duty really did nothing to convince me to start buying them again, especially when Battlefield 4 is coming for the Xbox One, personally not in the slightest concerned about the used game fee stuff, but that's just me. I buy games to play and keep, I'm not fond of selling or buying used games really.

Would have liked to see an Dead Rising 3 as well, I guess we can hope for E3 buy for some reason I doubt it's happening.

You're so pessimistic.

Sorry. <3

For me, Middle European gamer, 80 % stuff is ... not available for me. I dont like DRM, also I often borrow/lend games with my friends and playing on other ppl's account is just weird for me. I bought used games whole this gen, so I just.. dont know what to think. Also 8 GB DRR3&1.24 TFLOPS rumors looks like to be true. Really, I dont know what to think now.New design of console is normal.

To be honest, now I think Sony will announce something bad too. It is impossible to PS4 dodge all this stuff.

  • Hardware/Kinect:

I want a Kinect. No I don't want to play games with it. I want to because I want to talk to my console via my own Jarvis, I like now being able to go downstairs, being able to prepare my coffee and make my breakfast all the while being simply able to start my Xbox by talking to it, call someone whilst I'm in the kitchen, or simply just go straight to games so I can pick up the controller and play when I'm done in the kitchen.

I love the simple and clear voice commands for the system, skype and applications.

In other words: Like most people who own Kinect for more than a few days, the builtin microphone worth about 1 $ is the only part of the hardware you're still interested in. And what you like about Kinect is actually not the hardware, but the voice recognition software.

Did somebody call?

Reaaaaaly not liking the name, and worried that the only game that showed actual ingame footage was fifa, which didn't look all the different from current gen. - underwhelmed by both consoles, sticking to my PC for the forseeable future.

Your point being?

I'm getting what I want included with the console I want, there's no downside.
