In other words: Like most people who own Kinect for more than a few days, the builtin microphone worth about 1 $ is the only part of the hardware you're still interested in. And what you like about Kinect is actually not the hardware, but the voice recognition software.

I'm getting what I want included with the console I want, there's no downside.
