I wish they would do something like this for the Champions League. Watch the game and see all the information you want on you tablet / smartphone. I actually use an app on my phone to get some statistics while I watch the game, but this is very basic.

I want information about each player (completed passes, distance on the field, ball possession etc). That would be awesome.

If I were an NFL fan, this deal would make me really happy.

we have Xbox support for the Dutch League and together with the second screen app for all the statistics it's pretty cool.. except when my iPad is being shuffeled around between drunk people.. -_-"

That is pretty cool.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Worth every penny. Probably the best investment they could have made.

Agreed. MS are planning an aggressive take-over for every lounge room it can!

They have Foxtel,(Cable) deals here in Australia too on the 360. Have for a while. People thinking they'll "forget" the rest of the world are dreaming. This is the money MS has. #DealWithIt.

...just imagine how many games you could have made with this money...what a waste...

They're already got 15 lined up for E3.... Barely enough time as it is! Too many games would be a problem..... XBONE 1 HAZ NO GAEMZ!?!?!? Right.........

If I was in any way an NFL fan I would be thrilled. But I'm not, at all. I forget that it even happens unless I'm somewhere and can't get away from it. so I'm looking at is it may get more Xbox Ones into homes, and they might buy a couple of games. More games bought = more games making money = more games made.

I couldn't wait for the sports parts to be over. It really bugged me that they went back to sports 3 times, but I'm not their demographic. Just wanted to see a few more games.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Yeah ... Totally worth spending every marketing penny in america, where they already are established, rather that the rest of the world where we already make fun of em'

I usually watch NFL on my laptop and if I want to see stats, I look them up in another tab on NFL.com. Alternatively, you could use a laptop/tablet to check NFL.com for stats and highlights while you are watching the games on TV.

So what am I missing here? What exactly did Microsoft pay for that wasn't already available before?

Plus with smart TVs you can already connect to the interwebz. So I can't see how in the near future (if not already) you couldn't just have the scores and stuff pop up next to your channel directly from the internet. I don't know what exclusive stuff MS got that was worth $400 million either.

You are watching sports on a laptop and ask what you are missing out?
Really?

They just killed any chance for Sony to get back to No. 1 in NA. That is what they did.

MS, don't forget Europe (especially Germany! :) )
