people playing next gen games without an HD TV are SERIOUSLY

SERIOUSLY

retarded

I'm so cereal.

Many games released this gen infact look better on on a tube tv then an HD panel.  And unless you are getting the very best of Hd tv's i still think the colours look better on tube Tv's.  Plus the games seem more responsive.

Lol.

No dude. Just no.

I bought a LG LCD motionflow 200Hz Tv (and it's super cheap right now) back in 2009 and it's waaaay better than anything on a SD TV by far.

Colours better!? DUDE PLASMA.

Composite or Component. Damn.

You would be surprised how many gamers are still stuck with "the bad TV." That's part of the reason why all the console makers are trying to make the devices more living room friendly.

But even if you have an older HDTV with this (i know we have two with no HDMI) you're still fucked.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Xbone. I like this abbreviation. I will sue it from now on.

ot: Why buy a next gen system if you have yet to by an HDTV? why not stick with current gen as I doubt hd games would look that great scaled down to sd.

Hey, look on the bright side, at least that confirms that it comes packaged with an HDMI cable instead of composite cables.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Yeah we're the core crowd of course we have HDTVs.

I'm sure there are people like say in Brasil and Mexico that don't and still play games with 360 or PS3.

I stand by what i said, i've played on 32" and 37" panasonic and toshiba tube tv's and they had better colours and then any tv i have i have seen.  Cod  and many games also look and play better on them then either the toshiba and samsung HD panels i have played on no matter what settings the Tv's have.

I agree with you as far as colors go. Tube TV still have far better color than any lcd, or led I have ever seen. Its the draw back of those technologies is that they dont have as bright or vibrant colors. PLasma matches tube tv's in color in my opinion. But I cant play on SD tv's. Even though the color is better.

LMAO.. thats amazing that you actually have 2 of them.. were they on sale 2 for 1 or something like that?
You would just need to buy a converter for 40 bucks..

No. The difference between SD and HDTV's is huge for HD games.

I do agree that colors are slightly better on SDTV's though.
