Forums - Gaming - I don't see a "significant" graphical leap.

no graphical leap what so ever.

I think "significant" is the key word and in the context of PS/360 vs Wii.

it might not be as drastic as PS3 and WiiU. but the difference between WiiU and PS4 is still huge.

Agreed, and don't get me wrong, I think PS4/One looks good, but everything looks good in a demo as its supposed to. getting that amount of detail to run in an actual game is another story.

also, we are still at the beginning of the gen. the games will look better for PS4/xbox so the leap between gens will increase
PS4 wont look as good high end PC's. but when u think about it, the titan GPU costs about what? 1000 bucks? so you could most probably buy 2 PS4's and have some spare money for the price of the GPU alone

u need glasses or u r blind.

If can have dogs in every game this next gen will have the biggest leap ever.

you can have dogs in last gen games but you can only have dogs you care about in next gen games

it's not as big a leap I would have liked it to be, but I definitely see a difference. I'm pretty sure later on into the consoles life cycles, games will look vastly different between Wii U and Ps4/X1. That doesn't mean we can't enjoy the Wii U, I'm sure the next Zelda will be awesome and Wii u games should also improve quite a bit over time. I am quite happy with the system right now.

Awesome video   yeah it looks good, but I still think that minus some smoke, particle effects, etc, similar can be done on WiiU that keeps the fans happy.

I think Nintendo was right, in that the graphical leap between the PS4/One and the WiiU would not be as "significant" in terms of visuals as was with the PS3/360 and the Wii. I say this after watching the XboxOne reveal and looking at the EA Sports games, mainly. I think these games could definitely be done on the WiiU without any significant loss in visuals.

What do you think?

I agree with you here. Really, people don't seem to understand that, while the Wii was NOT capable of doing many things the PS360 could, the Wii U can do everything the PS4XONE are capable of, only not on the same scale. Let's consider that the XONE has lowered the bar for multiplatforms, being less powerful than the PS4 overall.
