This has just become THE QUESTION everybody will be asking until E3.

Good point, where is Sony?

They should be boasting about not doing this.

Actually that's not not a point at all.

Why would they? They already stated their take on used games, always on etc. So the same could be asked about Nintendo, why are they keeping quiet about it? They already tied Nintendo ID's to Wii U's so maybe that's next, right?

Just because you imply that Sony will do that, doesn't mean they will. We know MS certainly will.

Blah, blah, blah...

That's all I read.

You want to presume Sony isn't doing this. But I'm waiting for Sony to respond and confirm they aren't doing this.

By the way, I'm hoping Sony doesn't do this.

My opinion.

Screw MS if this is true. 100% Sony PS4 fanboy now if they dont block.

And not to trust certain people who obviously were feeding me false information about this console

Please note my opinions are my own and not that of my employer.

If MS is doing it, and with Sony having said 'it was up to publishers', I think 3rd parties will pull that move on both consoles...if they´re doing it with the the Xbox One, they´re doing it with the PS4.

Maybe for Sony´s own games, they won´t do it.

meanwhile, Wii U let you play all games, used or not

And not very surprising. There is another reason why this gen lasted so long, because it needed to be longer in order to make a profit off those hardware losses. MS made it's 360 profitable like when? 2011-2012? As for Sony well...yeah. Only the Wii made insane profits from the get-go.

Normally, we'd have started an entirely new gen by now.  What Sony and MS are aiming to do is make a profit as quickly as possible, coming off from last gen. Easiest 1st target is used games. Publishers agree with this too as long as they get a cut. Else we're going to be seeing a long gen again.

Which makes me wonder the hell Nintendo's expecting out the industry in the upcoming years.
