No, you got it mixed up. Sony has an online-pass. This is an offline-pass, you won't be able to play the games at all unless you pay the additional fee...

if you save the game to the cloud then you can acess the game from any xbox1. so if u want to show your frined the game go to there place log in show them the game if they like it enough that they want to buy it then they pay the fee.

also sony still uses the online passes so why is only ms getting blamed?
