Don't see why that makes his opinion any less viable. As if he would avoid something that he would like just because of the name. I'm still waiting to see the new IP and their gameplay but that presentation was awful. I will buy XboxOne if they show cool looking blockbuster exclusives that aren't Gears and Halo (which I played through at a friends house this gen because I wasn't paying for online and wasn't going to spend $200 just for those since third party stuff was on PS3). People buy stuff because they like it, they don't like things because they buy them. I have money for 360 right now but I'll stick with Wii and PS3 because that's all I want.

What from 2 decades ago looks and plays the same as SM Galaxy?
I like the look of the console. Some of the venting during the reveal video looks awfully similar to that PS4 teaser...
The gesturing and voice recognition stuff was incredibly lame in my opinion.. I'm holding a controller, and have to put it down to do some two-handed gestures? This is supposed to make it easier on me? No thank you. Ideally there will be built-in controller functions to replicate the movements. Will wait for E3 to see some real games (outside of the known Microsoft stable of Forza, CoD DLC, etc.) and pass judgement. 15 exclusives sounds great, but it totally depends on what those actual games end up being (Kinect, Arcade, etc.)

It's all about the game.
Wow I was absolutely blown away with the Xbox One. It's like MS went into my head, found my next gen wish list, and then improved upon it.
The next Xbox (I don't like saying Xbox One) will do everything that I want it to do.
- Seemless multitasking where you can go from any app to TV to games with a few words and they all pause until you get back to them. This is just an incredible feature
- 15 exclusives (which BTW I think they meant 15 excusives from their 1st part studios. I don't think they were counting 3rd party exclusives) with 8 new IP's along with the existing awesomeness (Halo, Forza, Etc) within 1 year of launch.
- Dynamic, every changing, individualized XBL online gaming.
- Halo TV series directed by Steven Spielburg (I about died when this was announced). This looks to be the start of their exclusive TV content.
- A powerful system that will allow for high fidelity CGI-like graphics.
- The amazing third party support that Xbox users have become accustomed to.
- A controller that looks like it will be even better than the 360's
- A device that can truly do everything you need and want it to do.
- Blu-ray drive
I am definitely pre-ordering this sometime within the next month or two.

Not entirely. You need to pay a fee to play them

I shouldve been more specific and said exclusives from Microsoft. All is mended. :)
