well.once sonic was cool but seems he has fallen down the ladder so far that now he even has to prostitute himself to nintendo?xD

I don't care as I can't remember a real good sonic game since dreamcast and mario and sonic olympic games always were Nintendo exclusiv and nothing special.

Nintendo should better try to get some fifa/madden ports as those games attract gamers more than niche like sonic or bayonetta.

Sonic Colors is actually really good, but you need the Wii to play it, the DS version is also quiet decent.

i have a wii(somewhete in the attic)but either i've missed this game or i started ignoring sonic games without being aware of it because of too many sonic dissapointments.

bought the last sonic 2d downloadgame laSt year.was also a huge dissapointment.

only good game with sonic in the padt years imo is sega racing

I remember reading something about the Wii version having better day stages but is a lot shorter or something, and most people hated the whole Werehog people, including me.

Do tell, I would love to know more about this, well, from players perspectives who actually played them. Mind you I only looked at them, so my POV may and can be superficial. And yeah, it's already globally expected that that the Night stages were not the best thing to represent in a Sonic title. Come to think of it, Tails/Eggman playstyles in SA2 is better compared to the Werehog's playstyle... but that's just me. XD

And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!

Not sure why people are up in a tizzy over this. Sonic games are hit and miss these days anyways.

Bah let Nintendo have those games. I'm actually interested in seeing how this would turn out, especially if Nintendo has a hand in it on the development side (in some way). Besides, is it not only 3 games?

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

You should pick up Colors then, it's pretty much the best 3D Sonic game in the 7th gen, and a lot of people did bitch about it being only on the Wii since it is actually good lol...

Good. They can keep him. Sega needs all the money they can get.

Also, bring Yakuza 5 over here too, Sega. Pretty please~ with a cherry on top.

As far as I know, the day stages on the 360/PS3 had more platforming while the Wii version felt more like a fast ass racer which made the stages feel much shorter. There are of course people that prefer the platforming over just a hedgehog that's suppose to run really fast...... but the Wii also has Galaxy and Galaxy 2 which are pretty much the peak of 3D platforming in the 7th gen so they made the right decision IMO.

As a diehard Sonic fan who only owns an Xbox 360 (and who intends to purchase a 720 sometime next year) I have no problem with this; it's only a 3-game deal, one of them is an Olympics game (i.e. skippable), and it's not like SEGA haven't made Nintendo exclusive Sonic games in recent years (see Secret Rings, Black Knight, and Colors).

If Lost World and the unannounced game are super good and I decide I really want to play them, then maybe I'll purchase a cheap, used Wii U late in its life cycle. Maybe. Regardless, I'll enjoy the Sonic titles that make their way to Xbox (and I'm confident there will be plenty, probably including whatever big retail game they cook up for the 25th anniversary).

Nintendo exclusives are an absolute outrage and should be illeagal. I want to know what the government have to say about this?

i think this is great. if anyone can make sonic relevant and good again it's nintendo.

..now if valkyria chronicles went nintendo exclusive i'd be pissed.

Just wondering based on two situations. What if, it did go exclusive, but it actually got localized instead of .... well not, or Nintendo funded the whole project and basically it would not been made otherwise.

(Personally people shouldn't follow consoles, they should follow games!)

based on the fact i live in n. america and the project rainfall fiasco..  i very much doubt that a new VC getting localized is going to be highly influence by nintendo.

I'm pretty sure that VC 3 not getting localized was due to VC 2 doing terrible in the west and VC3 not doing very good in the east either.  honestly, i can't disagree with sega's decision... VC3 would have done terrible in the west as well.  ..as will any other VC not on a home console regardless of how good the game is.  the west just doesn't give handhelds much respect.
