hmm didn't know there was a third exclusive from Sega. did they say that in the ND? if so, how the hell did I miss that!

I agree 50% with Rol. Keep Sumo Digital away from this idea, but I disagree that SEGA couldn't do it.

I would be in favor of this on two conditions:

1. EAD is still the lead developer, with Sumo Digital in a supporting role.
2. The game is still a "Mario Kart (Insert something here)", not "Mario & Sonic Kart".

That would be awesome, i loved the Mario and Sonic olympic games

I would only be cool with this if Mario Kart items are used because the items in Transformed suck major ass.

I though those games were just plain cash grabbers/shovelware? Maybe I should try out the next version of it then

I'm gonna say no, for one reason.

1. Money

The last Mario Kart for the Wii sold a bajillion, why would Nintendo want to split the revenue of Mario Kart with Sega?

But speaking of Sega, I would guess that this means we will see Sonic returning in Smash.

As for third game? Hmm I'm hoping for an RPG.

I mean they had that Sonic RPG, then you have the Paper Mario games. Make a Sonic/Mario RPG

Yeah to be honest, maybe I need to revisit the Sonic racing games, but I really didn't like the one on Wii U as much as Mario Kart. The frame rate annoyed me too.

I hope it's not true, I like my Mario Kart more ''Mario Karty'' and less ''Sonicy''.

On my WiiU I want to play Mario Kart. Plain and simple, that's part of the reason I bought my console for. I don't want to see my Mario Kart as I know it get canned for a Mario Kart/Sonic crossover.

I would'nt mind Sonic appearing in Mario Kart as a playable character, but that's it.
Also, if it means we can still have Mario Kart AND that rumored Sonic crossover sepparatly, I would feel that it would be a waste of that 3rd exclusive game since I have no need for this game since I already have Mario Kart.

Idealy, that 3rd Sonic game would be a new 2D Sonic. That way we have that Mario/Sonic crossover with the Olympic games, that 3D Sonic in Lost World (if it is actualy 3D) and that old school game that are loved by alot of fans like Generations. If Lost World happened to be 2D (I doubt it, and I think it was confirmed to be 3D already?) then give us Adventure3 for our 3D fix.
