Doubt it. As far as i can see on Miiverse, the free Challenge Mode seems to have soothed over the fan-rage to a degree. The game won't be as beloved as it would have been had the original plan remained in place, but its not going to get boycotted (on Wii U) or anything either.

There is a negative momentum in NA currently, so I guess...not

Are you saying that more people in NA are returning their 3DS to cancel the original sale than new people buying it? How else could you achieve negative momentum?

He's saying year over year the 3DS is declining already I believe.

I don't think the game was going to sell either way. It's a niche title, the previous one sold a paltry amount on the PS3/360/Wii combined.

That description couldn't be more unlike me lol. For that I would have to claim to be a Nintendo fan, and be concerned for Nintendo fans and Nintendo itself. But if he did indeed call me that, then he should've been moderated...was that yesterday?

I agree, that doesn't fit you. It was yesterday, but it wasn't directed at you if I remember correctly. Unless my brain messes with me, and spurge meant something else. This was the only 'Wiki-term' thrown around I remember from yesterday anyway, so this gotta be it.

Rol discovered a good Wiki term for Pezus last night. I forget what it is though. He does it perfectly. Do not pay him any attention. The 3DS is beast and not even Pezus can deny it or brain wash us to think it is not.


The 3DS isn't a "beast" in North America, it can't even outsell a 7 1/2 year old XBox 360.

Luigi + Fire Emblem + Monster Hunter + LEGO + Pokemon Mystery Dungeon have already been out. No bump in hardware sales year over year whatsoever. Cold. Hard. Numbers.

The handheld market is in massive decline in the West. That's all there is to it.

We will see what we will see. I am just going off what I am seeing at retail. Games sold out and 3DS systems doing much better.

No offence, but I doubt anyone really cares what you're seeing at the 1 or 2 retailers you visit locally.

This is a sales site, we rely on and analyze actual hard data, not ancedontal fairy tales.
