Microsoft made a stupid decision copying Sonys ten year plan. They should've left the gen this year and called it a day. Microsoft gets the short burst of sales but Sony has the better legs.
Sigh how many times must it be pointed out the on a scale of 1 to 10. Us is a 10, rest of English speaking world is about a 5, Europe is 3, Japan a 1 and rest of world is a 1

By the way this gen is over ? Sorry ? For you perhaps on 360, because the lacks of games, but check all the PS3 exclusives games, it's not over man. That's what I said : wake up. I will still play on PS3 when PS4 and 720 will be here. Legs man... Check a game like GT6, for you it's nothing, for people in Europe it's their Halo. And it out at the end of this year... PS3 hasn't finished his marathon. Why do you think it's selling better WW each week than 360 ?
PS3 is far more dominant in the non-English speaking world selling 20 million+ more systems than the XBox 360. In the English speaking world North America and UK the XBox 360 has outsold the PS3 by 20 million+.

I'm sure they're weeping into their euros. All markets are important. It's doing great for how old it is.

The gen is still over. when next systems release that means the previous gen is over. sure games still come out and people play but its still a fact. i am not saying us is the only one that matters but it is without a doubt the most important market. that is the market sony must take if they want to take down MS.
On topic with the thread, WW totals for sw and hw are now up. The lead stands at just over 50k and we are 2 weeks away from X360 becoming a third place console.
I get your point. At the end of the day 360 will at the third place worlwide no matter excuses you can find...
