Mmmmmm.... It depends on the quality. Halo 4 was great. If something of similar or better quality launched with the neXbox and helped boost it's sales I'm for it. If the stars don't align though, I'm more than happy to wait. They'll be plenty of other games to play.

A Halo 5 would be amazing if true, but I doubt it will release only a year after Halo 4.

Seems too soon for Halo 5. Halo 2 anniversary should be next year. So Halo 5 could be hitting 2015. A new ip or two, Project Gotham/Forza and third party games should do it for the two months 720 is going to be in market this year.

I'm not really feeling this whole, remake every Halo with updated graphics thing. I think we should just let those old games be what they are and look forward to the new freshness of new games, not old shit with a fresh coat of paint.

Or Gran Turisimo 6!

OT:  No Halo game this year unless it's some suprising spin off.  Even a Halo 2 Anniversary would have to wait until 2014, as that would be 10 years.  I personally am curious to know how much Corinne Yu had to do with the graphics engineering of the new console and especially what she and her team have in store.  Face it, the woman is a genius.

Overall, though, can we just wait a week and kill the blind speculation on game titles and console specs/features?

Just because technical a new Halo game has released every year since 2009 doesn't mean Halo 5 is releasing this year. There has been four different developers making Halo games since 09 with two being spinoffs (Wars & ODST) and Anniversary being a re-release.
Reach and Halo 4 were the only mainline Halo titles since Halo 3. Only chance of a Halo releasing this year is Halo 2 Anniversary, which wouldn't make sense because that would be in 2014, or a spinoff title. Halo 4 had a 3 year dev cycle so I image Halo 5 will be the same.

There won't be Halo 5, but I could see 343 being there to show a tech demo of what their new engine and Halo 5 will look like on the 720.
