A popular retailer has listed Gran Turismo 6 for the PS4.

CDON, a Nordic online webstore, had earlier listed the game only for the PS3, but another listing has popped up on the site which shows that the game may be released on the PS4.

So could Gran Turismo 6 be a cross-gen game?

The game was originally revealed by Sony’s Michael Denny and an announcement for the game is expected on May 15th.

Looking at CDON’s PS4 page, they haven’t listed any odd games for the system, so it looks like this may end up being true. Making it cross gen would be the best way to go about it as it would please fans who are clamoring for a next-gen Gran Turismo, along with people who are happy with it being a PS3 game.

Well it would be pretty foolish of Sony not to release GT6 on PS4. In my opinion they should make it a PS4 only title, instead of a cross gen one. I understand that releasing it on both systems would earn them more money off the game, but GT is their biggest system seller, and putting it out there on PS3 would greatly damage the potential boost to PS4 sales they could see if it was exclusive to PS4.
